Flock of the Seraphim Club and Donation Boxes
A cautious reading of the hub menus players keep calling empty or unclear.
Within hours of the August 13, 2026 launch, Steam threads named “Club problem,” “Club Donation Boxes,” and “The meaning of luck.” This page does not invent a hidden economy. It tells you what is public, what is only a player report, and which other wiki doors to use instead of staring at a quiet menu.
If you came here because your angels vanished, start with How to Unlock Angels. The club is not the flock.
What we can say without guessing
The game has a hub between crusades. You spend currency on meta upgrades and on owned angels. That is official. The store page does not print a full club manual. Launch players still found a club-styled screen and boxed gifts, and they immediately argued about whether the screen was empty, gated, or just poorly labeled.
Steam achievements also print Club Cleansing: Beat Hazard Level 2 Club. That sentence means Club is a stage you can clear, not only a lobby. If you came here because a cleanse will not pop, you may be standing in the hub when the overlay wants Maps and Hazards. Finish the Hazard 2 Club run, then come back to the boxes.
Until GuuchanDev posts a note, treat the club menu as a social-or-meta counter on the hub, not as a second game. If a box asks for a donation, assume it wants the same currency you already earn in runs, or a dedicated club token that only appears after a condition you have not met. Do not spend real money looking for a cash shop. The Steam page lists a $9.99 game, a demo, and bundles. It does not list a box microtransaction.
Donation boxes without a wiki novel
Player posts describe donation boxes as objects you can interact with on the club side. Some people think they are broken. Some think they need a higher flock count. Some think Luck changes the roll. None of those posts are a patch note.
A sane order of operations:
- Finish one run and confirm you still have currency on the meta screen. If that number is zero, you have a keep or crash problem, not a club problem. See the crash fix.
- Open the club screen once, note any timer, level, or greyed button, then leave. Sitting in the menu will not spawn a tutorial the game forgot to write.
- If a box can be opened, open one and write down what dropped. Compare it to in-run loot. If the drop looks like a hub cosmetic, go to skins. If it looks like a stat stone, go to meta upgrades.
If nothing interacts, you are probably gated. Play another ten-minute clear instead of refreshing the same room. The first-boss guide is a better use of that hour.
Luck, said carefully
Luck is on cards and menus enough that a thread exists only to ask what it means. There is no official formula in the news feed. The useful reading is: Luck is a roll weight for drops and boxes, not a damage stat you stack instead of pierce. If a club box is a roll, Luck might matter. If the box is a daily gate, Luck will not open it.
The stat glossary repeats that line so build pages do not turn Luck into a religion. When a hotfix or patch note finally defines the number, that glossary and this page should be updated together. Until then, do not reroll your whole meta tree for a two-point Luck node.
How this menu relates to leaderboards
Steam lists leaderboards. Demo notes even mention a leaderboard reset after a run-breaking bug. The club may sit next to those scores in the hub, the same way other horde games put a board on a social wall. A quiet club does not mean your Endless time failed to upload. Check Steam’s own overlay if you care about rank.
When to stop poking the furniture
If the club is still blank after two clears, a Cloud sync, and a reboot, write a short Steam post with a screenshot and the build date. Then go play. The fun in this title is the flock, not the lobby. Starter builds and Endless Mode will teach you more about the game than a second hour of staring at a box.
This page stays cautious on purpose. Inventing a donation schedule would feel helpful for a day and would be wrong after the first patch. We would rather send you to a working crusade.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common questions.
Are donation boxes a cash shop?
There is no store listing for box microtransactions. Treat them as a hub interactable until official notes say otherwise.
Does Luck open club boxes?
Unknown. Treat Luck as a drop-weight guess, not as a confirmed key. A gate or timer is the more common reason a box does nothing.
My club screen is empty. Did I lose my angels?
Probably not. Check the flock screen and Steam Cloud first. The club is a different menu.
Where should I spend currency if the club is confusing?
Spend it on meta upgrades and owned weapon families you already clear with. Read the meta upgrades page before you feed a box.
