Flock of the Seraphim Maps and Hazards
The stages Steam achievements actually name, plus the Map 1 exam.
Launch-week threads say “Map 1 help” as if the rest of the game does not exist. The store page only promised a ten-minute boss and longer runs at higher difficulty. Steam achievements now print the missing map words: Cathedral, Club, Hell, Hazard Level 2, Arena, and Endless. This page is the atlas. It will not invent a world map the pause screen does not show.
If you have not finished a first clear, stay on How to Beat the First Boss. Hazard 2 is a later exam.
Map 1 is the opening clock
Players say Map 1 when they mean the first arena and the first demon lord at the end of the ten-minute clock. The wiki still will not invent a subtitle the UI hides. Use the name on your pause screen, then apply the same route: two ranges, no chest in a fresh spawn ring, leave the corpse pile before the next wave writes itself on your feet.
Reviews already complain about spawn radius and telefrags. That is a Map 1 problem and an Endless problem. You prevent some of it by never camping the last kill. You do not prevent all of it. File taste on Steam. Play the clock here.
Cathedral, Club, and Hell
Three achievements share a sentence shape:
- Cathedral Cleansing — Beat Hazard Level 2 Cathedral.
- Club Cleansing — Beat Hazard Level 2 Club.
- Hell Cleansing — Beat Hazard Level 2 Hell.
Those are official stage names. Club is therefore a place you can cleanse, not only a hub of donation boxes. If your club screen looks empty, you may be looking at the lobby when the achievement wants the stage. Open the map list, pick Club, and survive Hazard 2. If the lobby box still does nothing after a clear, that is the other page.
Global rates in the first weekend sat roughly Cathedral 57 percent, Club 29 percent, Hell 17 percent. Treat that as a difficulty order, not as a promised unlock ladder. The overlay does not say you must beat Cathedral before Club. Play the stage the menu offers.
Hazard Level 2 is the printed difficulty. The store already said longer runs exist at higher difficulty. This wiki will not invent Hazard 3 text until Steam prints it. If your UI shows more rungs, use the in-game label and still bring a two-range flock.
Arena and the no-hit row
Blessed asks you to clear an Arena run without taking any damage. That sentence is the only public Arena manual we have. It tells you Arena is a distinct run type, not a synonym for Map 1, and that a no-hit clear is rare (about 3.7 percent in the first weekend). Do not invent modifiers, mutators, or a weekly rotation. If the menu says Arena, treat it as a short exam with the same families you already understand from starter builds.
Strong Will (no damage for two minutes) is a cousin, not the same row. You can earn Strong Will on a messy Map 1. Blessed wants the whole Arena clean.
Endless sits after the roar
Survivor is survive 20 minutes in Endless Mode. That is the long-clock mark. The playable essay is Endless Mode. Reviews already say late waves look samey and some items thin out. Hazard 2 cleanses are a different job: a named stage at a named difficulty, then you leave. Endless is the same language with worse spawn math and no polite ending.
Faith Haver (11 minutes) and Most Faithful (13 minutes) sit between the first boss and a true Endless score. They are clock rows, not map names. If you die at 10:30 on Map 1, you still have not seen Cathedral.
What to bring to a new stage
The flock rules do not change when the wallpaper does. You still want a closer and a line. Shotgun or swords for the inner ring. Rifle, bow, or SMG for the tall target. Weapon Types is the family page. Achievements is the cleanse checklist. System requirements is the “my laptop dies when Hell fills the screen” page.
If a stage feels bricked after a crash, check Steam Cloud and the flock screen before you assume the map unlocked wrong. The crash fix is still the boot door.
This atlas will add a fourth stage name when Steam prints one. Until then, Map 1, Cathedral, Club, Hell, Arena, and Endless are the whole public set. Play the clock you can see. Leave the lore novel for a patch note.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common questions.
Which maps are officially named?
Achievements name Cathedral, Club, and Hell at Hazard Level 2, plus Arena and Endless. Players also say Map 1 for the opening clock.
Is Club a hub or a stage?
Both. Club Cleansing is a Hazard 2 stage clear. Donation boxes are a separate hub screen.
What is Hazard Level 2?
The printed higher-difficulty rung on Cathedral, Club, and Hell. The store already promised longer runs at higher difficulty.
Where do I go after the first boss?
Either roll into Endless, or pick a named stage and try Hazard 2. Read Endless Mode before you chase Survivor.
